A winner in Simon Sez… Sky!

This week’s Simon Sez challenge people reaching for the sky. Stephanie M. D’Aigle – the Simon in Chief, chose “Sky” for as the theme for her turn as Simon. There were many entries, but it was the sky over a beach in Italy submitted by Heather Sims that got the nod. Here is what Stephanie had to say about her choice… “THIS WAS NO EASY CHOICE! Heather’s beach image gives me hope that warmer days will come. It also serves to remind us to take some time to enjoy what has been given to us.  I am so looking forward to a trip to the beach someday soon! From the land of sky blue waters, I hereby announce that the next Simon will be Heather!”

Simon Sez… Sky!

Stephanie M. D’Aigle is this week’s Simon. Her theme choice is “Sky” and she put it this way – “It seems that just about everyone could come up with something that has a sky in it!   Sometimes the sky is crying, sometimes it is joyous.  Our moods are sometimes generated by what the sky is up to, dark days can make us gloomy and bright sunny days it seems that nothing could possibly happen to ruin our day!

Show me something with a sky in it!  Sky need not be the main focus of the art at all, but it more than likely sets a tone. Any media.  As many as you can throw at me, I’m ready for SKIES!”
