A winner in Simon Sez… Feet!

The winner of this week’s Simon Sez challenge is Stephanie M. D’Aigle . Elizabeth VanSickle, asked to see “Feet” for her turn as Simon. Elizabeth had this to say about the entries and her final choice… “WOW!  I never knew that feet could be so beautiful!  I love them all, I love the duck feet (ones with two feet and the ones with one foot!).  The wonderful baby/children’s feet are so adorable, it really captures their true innocence.  This was a difficult decision by far…I struggled for quite a while trying to pick just one!  The picture that has always stood out to me as “powerful” is Stephanie’s feet hanging over the boat!  The crisp picture takes you there on the side with her!  Way to go Stephanie and to all the entries….”

Simon Sez… Feet!

This week’s Simon is Elizabeth VanSickle and she wants to see feet. Why? Here is what she said, “Having incurable breast cancer I have challenged myself to live outside of the box.  So, one day, I decided that I would not paint my toenails all one color.  That is the “norm”.  It caught on and all of my family and friends “including men” decided as a support, the would be bold and paint their nails also!  Here is my “Feet” for Simon Sez…My husband would “die” if he new I was doing this….that is what makes it so fun! Good luck!”

A winner announced for Simon Sez… Our Heros

This week’s Simon Sez winner is Elizabeth VanSickle. Kevin Murray asked to see something rather personal for his turn as Simon. He asked to see “your Hero, Mentor, Inspiration.” Kevin explains why he chose Elizabeth this way: “There may have only been five entries into this round of “Simon Sez” and each and everyone of those images carries a powerful emotional bond that I’m glad you could share with us. I was touched by each one, but none as strong as for the image of Beth and her son.  A truer image of love and strength would be hard to find.” To learn more about Elizabeth’s entry and to see all the entries, visit the Simon Sez… Our Hero’s thread on the EBSQ Forums.
