The EBSQ-Etsy Street Team Moderators are pleased to announce the second Featured Friday store. This week our featured store is Muriel Areno:
Heide: What is most striking about Muriel’s artwork is that one day she produces bold highly contrasted pieces and the next day her work whispers calm serenity. There are a few pieces in her shop that I would love to own. What I am drawn to about her shop is her nice clean photographs of her art pieces and her vibrant banner.
Kris:I actually own some of Muriel’s work too. The thing that draws me to her art is her brush work and the way she layers and works her colors while painting. I love her care free and loose style. One of the great things about her shop is she has many items at different price points. So a casual to a more advanced collector can own an original Areno.
The EBSQ-Etsy Street Team is waiting for you to come say “Hello” whether you are a collector, fan or fellow artist.

I think Muriel’s art is stunning and alive. Her paintings make you ‘feel’ and to me that is what art is all about. Great to see her featured!
I think that Muriel is one of the most talented artists on EBSQ…her work is fresh and painterly and amazing…..
Congratulations Muriel, I hope one day to purchase some of your work

What a talented artist! I adore the water lily painting.
Thanks, everyone! (blushing)

And especially thank you Kris and Heide for featuring me!
My banner is actually a little bit of one of my big abstracts, Halfway Point, posterized in Photoshop.
